The word "planisphere" simply means flat sphere. It has a map of the sky that pivots at the celestial pole. As the map revolves around the pivot, it slides under a mask that represents your horizon. Turning the map mimics the apparent daily motion of the sky, complete with risings and settings at the horizon edges.

Anyone with an interest in the night sky needs a planisphere, or sky wheel, to quickly show which stars and constellations are visible from their location on any date and time.

The planisphere can be used to find and learn stars and constellations in the night sky, but it cannot be used to find the locations of the moon or planets. This is because the position of the moon and planets are not fixed on the celestial sphere.

3. You can also elect to choose Express Post: this is the quickest service and is quoted by Australia Post as 1 business day to metro areas and areas within the express post network. It comes with online tracking and signature on delivery with you having the option to authorise Australia Post to leave without a signature.
